Kyra M. Sedgwick (born Kyra Minturn) is a famous American actress and television personality. Her role as the lead on the TV show 'The Closer, it is well-known across the globe and in America in particular. Sedgwick was inclined towards acting, art as well as Broadway from the age of twelve years old. Her introduction to Broadway through her mother who was an avid Broadway enthusiast. Sedgwick had her first stage performance at the age of 16, when she appeared in 'Another World,' an upcoming TV show. At just 22 years old, she got married to the actor Kevin Bacon after working in a TV series called Lemon Sky. Sedgwick made a mark on American TV with her impeccable acting. The Closer, which ran for seven seasons, was awarded many awards including Emmy, Golden Globe and Emmy.
